URGENT CALL TO ACTION: MEDICARE COVERAGE FOR OBESITY COUNSELING
Medicare will now cover obesity counseling services under the coordination of the primary care provider and WITHOUT direct payment to registered dietitians. Click here to sign ADA's petition to President Obama urging Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to include RDs in obesity treatment. We need 25,000 signatures for the White House to review. This petition can be signed by anyone, health professionals, friends, family, the general public. Please post the message to your Facebook and Twitter accounts and spread the word.
