Conduct investigations, vendor site reviews, inventory audits of WIC retail food vendors, prepare investigation & inventory audit reports, prepare cost summaries for management of work performed by outside prof'l service contractors. Audit invoice to determine if WIC reimbursement payments were appropriate, prepare notices to vendors re: program perf & non-compliance w/ fed/state regs, recommend sanction schedule & prepare notif to vendors of any adverse actions needed. Semi-complex knowledge of business law related to Regulatory Judicial Court System, in-depth knowledge of fed & state laws, investigation techniques, accounting/auditing methods, oral/written comm, excellent interpersonal working relationships & listening skills, obtain fingerprint clearance card or apply for fingerprint clearance card w/in 7 days after starting employment, have & able to retain driver's license & acceptable driving record & complete required training
ArcGIS mapping software, paralegal certificate, any related basic and/or advanced program (nationally certified) Investigator/Inspector Training, Principles of Administrative law (some type of training/background), Advanced training in creating maps using global information systems software. Preference will be given to candidates with prior public health experience.
