Position Description

A Recipe and Menu Development Specialist is responsible for developing, analyzing, and maintaining recipes and menus to meet customer expectations, nutritional requirements, and financial guidelines. Basic responsibilities will be entering recipes into our online menu database and managing other reports as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Must have the ability to effectively write/develop recipes for large quantity production. Must be able to write instructions that are organized logically and easy to understand for any food service staff member.

Desired Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or Registered Dietetic Technician preferred. Preferred One (1) year related experience with menu systems management and/or recipe analysis software, but not required. Menu development, therapeutic diet knowledge and commercial kitchen experience a bonus.
