Conducts comm outreach services for program expansion. Participates and/or coordinates comm task forces/committees & special events. Provides high-risk nutr counseling to individuals (ex: Women, Infants and Children (WIC) clients) and follow-up visits as required.Interprets program goals while monitoring compliance with state, federal & local policies and procedures, regulations and division rules. Authorizes special formulas in accordance with WIC policies when medically necessary. See website
Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition and/or related field.Must be a Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Eligible. Two years progressively responsible experience in the field of Public Health Nutrition. One year supervisory experience. Or equivalent combination of experience, education and training which provides the desired knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.
