Salary Range:$22.72-$33.34 hourly
Provides service to WIC clients such as high-risk counseling, formula approvals,verification of eligibility, anthropometric & hemoglobin tests, nutr assessment & counseling in a participant-centered manner through motivational interviewing & emotion-based counseling with the goal of eliciting behavior change of clients. Coordinates operations of assigned WIC clinics by managing all aspects of client services including, but not limited to, developing & maintaining scheduling system. See website.
Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist credential & 2 years experience as Registered Dietitian. Must possess, or have ability to get by the time of hire, a valid Arizona driver's license. Knowledge of Fundamental theories, concepts, methods & basic sciences involved in nutrition & public health. Techniques to address nutrition problems of multi-ethnic, cultural & socioeconomicgroups. Master's degree in Nutrition, Public Health or related field. Experience working for a WICprogram. Completion of the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) competent professionalauthority training and certificate and the completion of the ADHS breastfeeding authoritytraining and certificate.
