Coordinate, develop & implement educ presentations; develop needs assessments, objectives & eval strategies for public health programs; provide counseling services; organize & distribute printed information, AV materials, & educational aids; design & prepare health ed materials & dept publications; maintain records & program documentation; serve on committees & planning groups as assigned; manages distribution of breast pumps & maintenance; may supervise designated WIC staff.
Bachelor's Degree in community health, nursing or behavioral health; Certification as an International Board Lactation Consultant is preferred; five (5) years of lactation education experience, OR any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license; requires successful completion of a background check.
