Salary Range:inquire with county
Assess nutrition status of clients (pregnant women and children under age 5) in accordance with established WIC and RD standards; educate and counsel clients and families on high-risk and medium-risk nutritional issues.
Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (community nutrition, public health nutrition, or nutrition science) or a related field and must be currently registered as an Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics (AND) Registered Dietitian. Maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license as position duties may require some driving.
Preference may be given to applicants who have experience working in the WIC Program and/orapplicants who have experience in programs providing nutrition education, teaching and/or working with pregnant womenand young children. Preference may be given to applicants who are bilingual in Spanish/English.
